|Title||Investigation of seasonal changes in backscattering of natural objects by means of TerraSAR-X and multi-frequency IMARC SAR data|

|Summary||Our team deals with SAR data obtained by airborne multi-frequency polarimetric SAR system IMARC in X, L, P and VHF bands. The flights were conducted over several regions in European part of Russia. The regions are characterized by the variety of natural and man-made objects, which makes it attractive for analysis and interpretation. Obtaining of high-resolution TerraSAR-X data acquired in various seasons would help us in the analysis of multi-frequency IMARC data. Our objectives include the following:

The work will be carried out in the framework of ISTC project #2866 “Application of multi-frequency polarimetric SAR at decimeter (L, P) and meter (VHF) bands for surface and subsurface sensing of soils and vegetation cover”.
