SummaryInterferometry is an important application of TerraSAR-X data. Specifically high-resolution spotlight data are a novum in civilian space-borne SAR systems and are provided to science users for the first time. Within this study, the high-resolution spotlight specific characteristics and algorithmic needs are assessed. DLR’s PSI processing system GENESIS is adopted accordingly and thus a spotlight PSI reference processing system set up. Interferometric stack processing is demonstrated and applied in an exemplary way for subsidence monitoring.
