SummaryRemote sensing technology has been widely used in both civilian and military fields.The advantage of joint processing ofmulti-sensor is that the consistent presentation of the target may lead to amore accurate and reliable conclusion. First, the single source detection algorithms are tested as the comparing results. Second, D-S evidence theory will be recommended as the criterion of decision level fusion in order to obtaina high detection probability. Finally, the fusion algorithms with the pixel level or feature level fusion as astarting point will be proposed, which may take advantage of SAR image andimproved the detection results. This proposal is a part of multi-sensor joint target detection project which is supported by The National Natural Science Foundation of China.
