SummarySame side SAR image pairs in stripmap mode will be processed for stereo radargrammetry, and a digital surface model (DSM) will be generated from that. We will subtract a high quality DTM from airborne laser scanning where this is available, in order to get the canopy height model, or normalized DSM. Using the field measurements obtained within the Kilimanjaroproject (field plots providing canopy height), we regress the two height estimates against each other. The Kilimanjaro project secures the availability of Lidar and ground truth data. No further funding is required.
