SummaryRecent TerraSAR-X and Landsat data shall be used to get a detailed and current understanding of the ice dynamics at the Nivlisen ice shelf and Potsdam Glacier located at the Princess Astrid Coast in Central Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica. The ice dynamics will be derived from speckle and feature tracking. Interferometric processing with double difference calculation will help to locate the grounding zone. Derived results will be compared to ground truth GPS measurements which were collected in field work campaigns during the last years. The study will help to better recognize long-term changes and provide a better area-wide coverage.
