SummaryThe project will focus on the integration of InSAR and LiDAR (terrestial and airborne) data and study on applicability of LiDAR terrain elevation data for the improvement of PSI (Persistent Scatterer SAR Interferometry) processing. This approach will be tested in Polish Carpathians, the area where landslide hazards are extremely important due to the specific geological,geomorphological and hydrogeological conditions. According to the field experience the average spatial density of landslide occurrence in this area is up to 3 landslides/sq km. Within the project framework the comparative study on the TSX/ERS PSI technique on landslides will also undertaken. Data requirements are as following: 30 frames registered in the interval of 11 days starting in June 2010. Required data are SSC images in StripMap mode with HH polarization, provided by DLR preferably with ftp server. The project will be funded from the means of the research project of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, NN 526 146037, supervised by prof. Andrzej Borkowski
