SummaryObjective: To study and investigate the design of a detector in SAR tomography for multiple scatterers that can exhibit a time deformation. Method:The number of different scatterers in the same range azimuth resolution cell with a velocity considered to be well within the given range V1 is assumed to be at most Kmax, along with the assumption of sparseness in the elevation direction. Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test (GLRT) approach is used to detect the presence of scatterers based on multiple hypothesis testing thereby hunting for optimal signal support. With the aid of a phase model that allows modelling time deformation along with a priori information available that at most Kmax different scatterers are present in the same range azimuth resolution cell, the detector retrieves at most Kmax scatterers in addition to their elevation and deformation parameters. Data Requirements: TERRASAR-X data required for at least two different locations. Multi pass SSC TERRASAR-X data is preferable. Deliverables: The results will be submitted for publication on scientific journal. The research will be funded by local research project.
