SummaryWe have such technique in place which can monitor and quantify the surface deformation induced by serious and extensive ground water exploitation. This technique has not been used to assess the deformation for such kind of rapidly changing land use land cover pattern in Delhi (NCR). We intend to use the potential of the available technique to deliver a model for sustainable development. Here in this study we will attempt to establish the relation in ground water exploitation and surface subsidence in urban area. objective: 1.Surface deformation monitoring and Change detection study of whole study area. 2.Digital Elevation model generation using InSAR and Stereo-optical satellite data and its fusion for quality improvement. 3.Development of a model/strategy for more planned and sustainable development. Our department will be source of the fund.
