SummaryObjectives: The primary objective of our study is to evaluate the capability of new Staring Spotlight mode TerraSAR-X data in detection of landslide deformation. Both PSI and pixel offset tracking techniques will be tested andvarious comparisons will be carried out. Data requirements: Two years of data acquisitions arerequired for correlation analysis between landslide activity and reservoir water level. With a temporal baseline of 22 days in average, we would need around 36 ST scenes. Deliverables: A surface deformation estimation map of Shuping landslide at Zigui,China. At the same time, a fine-resolution DEM covering the study area will be generated as a byproduct.Funding: The project is funded by the Chinese NationalKey Basic Research Program (Grant No. 2013CB733204) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 41271457).
