SummaryThe objectives of this project are:

(1) Detection of surface displacement in Pearl River delta (PRD).

(2) Segmentation of surface displacement in PRD.

(3) Testing of TerraSAR-X segmentation and classification results against Aerial Laser scanning results in Wuzhizhou Island.

(4) Explanation of observed displacement in PRD.

The method of this project are:

(1) Time series InSAR analysis.

(2) Image segmentation and object-based classification.

(3) Integration of subsidence pattern and land cover type.

(4) Model inversion and uncertainty analysis.

The data requirements are:

The data requested includes archived or planned TerraSAR-X Staring Spotlight (ST) mode and TerraSAR-X wide swath mode products in Pearl River delta. Further details of data requirements are listed in the section of detailed description.

The deliverables are:

(1) Displacement field of PRD associated with land cover types.

(2) A complex subsidence model of PRD.
