|Title||Deformation monitoring of single buildings using TerraSAR Staring Spotlight images|

InSAR is a relatively new and powerful technology for observing the Earth surface. The wide spatial coverage, high resolution and competitive measurement accuracy make it a very unique technology for many applications, including the generation of DEM and the mapping of ground settlement related to volcanoes, earthquakes,landslides and mankind activities. And D-InSAR is a useful technologyfor measuring surface deformation, but it is difficult to get robust deformation results using conventional differential InSAR method due to lacking enough SAR images jointly used in SAR interferometry. Time-series InSAR algorithm is used to monitor the temporal evolutionof surface deformation in urban areas. The existed PS technology is successful in the application of deformation monitoring in urban areas with middle-resolution, such as ASAR and ERS, and some TerraSAR-X data. But it cannot obtain the detail deformation information about the single buildings due to the low resolution.
In this project, we will introduce a Spherical Delaunaytriangulation network (SDTIN) network construction method and a 3D phase unwrapping method to obtain a more reliable information with the increasing resolution. In addition, we will also analysis thestability of the high buildings and provide some useful information such as the structural parameters of facilities to help some departments evaluate the hazards caused by external factors.
